Crafting Testimony & Public Comments
In a healthy democracy, members of the public actively participate in local, statewide, and national government. Make your voice heard by providing testimony on issues that are important to you – whether at the NJ State level before the legislature or state departments, or locally in your community – your voice matters.

Join us for a training on crafting testimony and public comments and learn best practices for lifting up your own story and connecting with stakeholders.
Date: Thursday, September 12th

How to be a one person GOTV Machine!
What can you do to get out the vote? Large Get Out the Vote (GOTV) campaigns require time, money, and a team to implement – but what role can you play as an individual community member? We will also discuss combatting mis/disinformation in your GOTV work and connecting with apathetic or unlikely voters.

Rapid Response & Grassroots Mobilization
Have you ever received unexpected news that impacted your campaign and had to scramble to react? You are not alone! Predicting when a bill will be heard in committee, when public comments periods will open, or when rulings or statements will be released can be near impossible at times. Preparing certain resources and making a plan of action ahead of time can make all the difference when these unexpected situations arise.

Join us for a training to understand what resources to prepare in advance and what plans to have in place for impactful rapid response and grassroots mobilization.
